Why Create a Team
Ride to build your organization’s Team Spirit
With thousands of annual riders, the Ride has been a community-wide event since 1981 that inspires great camaraderie among teams, families and friends. Create a team and your organization’s logo will be printed exclusively on the back of each team rider’s t-shirt.
Ride for the Health of it
Bicycling is a great source of low-impact, cardiovascular activity. Physical activity can help improve state of mind, increase energy levels and even help lower health care costs. The Ride offers opportunities for participants to learn how to tune up their bikes and bodies for ride day helping beginners and serious cyclists prepare for one of five routes.
Ride for the Performing Arts
34 performing arts groups benefit from the funds raised at the Ride. Celebrate the start of Milwaukee’s festival season with your team members at the finish line party on the Summerfest Grounds featuring UPAF’s Member and Affiliate Groups; non-riders are welcome too!
