The UPAF Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite, is one of the nation’s largest one-day recreational bike rides. This annual fundraising event helps to keep the performing arts vibrant in our community. Nearly 300,000 participants have joined in the Ride for the Arts since it began in 1981, generating almost $8 million in funds to support more than 30 UPAF Member Groups and Affiliates.

The performing arts that make Southeastern Wisconsin such a great place to live, work, play and learn are alive and well because of generous donations from our area’s residents, corporations and foundations. Your entry fee for the Ride helps to cover the costs of the event. But by raising pledges for your ride, you are contributing to the health of our region. Pledges are not required to register; however, those who raise pledges qualify for great prizes AND give back to the community.

United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) is a nonprofit, umbrella organization that financially supports 32 performing arts groups in Southeastern Wisconsin. UPAF is the single largest donor to all of its 15 Member Groups. A donation to UPAF will impact 1,000,000 people in our area, including arts education for 400,000 children each year.
